Our Training Weekends
contain three vital elements:

1) Hands-on Experience

2) Theoretical Training

3) Personal Input

Each element will help to inspire and equip you to start and successfully run your own Kidz Klub.

1) Hands-on experience.
Many find that just seeing what we do releases fresh faith and vision into their lives and ministry. Watching 600 inner-city kids praising God is incredibly moving. Our message is that it can be done. Even the toughest of kids can respond to the love of God. Meet them on home visits, then watch them on the Saturday morning and let faith for your situation rise within you.

2) Theoretical Training
Kidz Klub Liverpool is big - very big! Whole bus loads of children, live music and multimedia presentations might be a million miles away from your own experience. That's why the three training sessions are so important. Each one will help you to see behind the razzmatazz and extract the principles that really make things work; principles that are effective in every situation. The content of the three sessions is as follows:

a) Home Visitation
Many people are filled with fear at the thought of taking the gospel onto the streets of their community and yet we've found it to be surprisingly simple. You'll learn:
• Why relationship is so vital
• How to get started
• How to be accepted into the community
• How to reach whole families

b) Planning a programme
Running a programme that is fast-moving and interactive, while still making room for kids to respond to the gospel can be very challenging. You'll learn:
• How to stay creative; even after 10 years!
• How to engage your kids and beat the 'boredom factor'
• How to communicate clearly

c) Discipline
Whether you're working with 30 kids or 300, discipline will always be a challenge. You'll learn:
• How relationship impacts discipline
• How to keep order in large groups
• How to set clear boundaries
• What to do with the kids who've been written off by everyone else!

3) Personal Input
Our Training Weekends are designed to give you as much time as possible with our team. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions and discuss issues that are specific to your situation. If you want to book all twenty places on a weekend, then we can tailor the programme to your team's specific needs.
